We decorated and prepared for indoor Easter Sessions this year because you never know what this Louisiana weather will do. The weatherman called for rain both Friday and Saturday, but then, of course, it was beautiful outside! But we think everything still worked out for the best. We used my grandmother’s vintage couch and a pallet backdrop that my husband made. The backdrop was decorated with frames from around our home, an egg wreath, and a vintage “Happy Easter” banner that I found in a flea market at Target a few years ago. I think it turned out pretty cute.
Now for the bunnies. There is an old show business saying that you should never work with children or animals. In answer to this pearl of wisdom from our more distinguished colleagues, we at Buie Photography decided to combine the two into one fantastic set of Easter Sessions! We quickly learned why that saying exists. Just kidding! The kids were all wonderful and acted like seasoned pros with the whole photo shoot thing. Meanwhile, the bunnies were curious and cuddly. They took to their new found friends quickly and were very patient with us shuffling them between laps. They even let a few of the kids feed them from our supply of carrots. Everyone had a good time and along the way we were able to capture a few pics. I hope you enjoy them as much as we did taking them!
Here are a few of my favorite images from this year’s Easter Sessions!
If you would like an Easter session, it’s not too late to sign up. We will be hosting bunny sessions again the weekend of March 31/April 1. Just email me to book: carabeth@buie.photos.
